I usually can’t sleep at night, so I took the pre-dawn hours and cleaned my garage in order to set up a spray paint booth. It’s much more sophisticated than what I was using when I started (and easier on the back).
Moon Forest was my return to spray painting after moving to acrylics in the winter of 2014. It provided the launch pad for mixing spray and acrylic techniques. I’ve used the techniques gathered through the early years, which I say like I’ve been doing this forever (I haven’t: only since 2014), in the work since then. The scene is a natural one, wherein I combine my love for the moon and the woods.
