Gratuitous #indigenouspeoplesday #art because no one will look at it and I’m a fan of #mesoamerica . When the Spanish first landed, they ostensibly came in peace. If only they had not subsequently lusted after gold and instead embraced their native compatriots, it would have been a better world. Sure 70m Aztecs would have still died of disease over the next 60 years after 1421 (salmonella, not syphilis as those who don’t know their history believe & probably not the Spaniards fault) but it would have been better today from a cultural standpoint. I would’ve liked to see what the Aztec empire grew into; such a shame. #art #digital #notpolitical
