Today was again about showing up. I was fresh out of original ideas so I figured, why not update #botticelli ‘s #birthofvenus – The original was #painted in the 1480’s, so 500 years and change later, #venus is attempting the same setup, except someone called the cops for her being #nude – I threw out the clamshell, because who needs a giant clam in 2020? The focus for me is her relative detachment from the chaos around her, sort of like day 40 something of #socialdistancing (as a germaphobe, I started before it was cool).
