Freedom Fighter

Americans generally don’t know what it means to fight for one’s freedom. This is Bourne out in the fact that less than 1% of the population ever serves in the military – and that’s okay. It’s good we don’t have to be like the rest of the world, right? This image is drawn from an amalgam of s**t I’ve seen overseas, mixed with desert folk – inspired by the Tuareg and Bedouin tribes. She’s oppressed within her culture, yet she’s willing to fight the foreign occupiers without a second thought. It’s a conundrum, freedom outside the bounds of freedom.
