A friend wanted me to paint he and his girlfriend. Although I told him that my portraits never match the subject, case in point, when I tried to paint Mary Elizabeth Winstead, the final looked like Veronica from the Archie comics:
But he was insistent, and so I attempted it and surprised myself. The painting actually sorta looks like them.
Whew, at least its not going under the bed or in the closet with everything else.
