First glance seems like this is about violence towards women. It’s not. I was watching the movie Stigmata, where the protagonist gets hit with the stigmata (it’s a Catholic thing) whilst in the tub. I like the beauty of the shot, and asked myself if I could replicate underwater conditions like that. I think I did. I probably could have put more blood in the water, but I love how light reacts with underwater scenery, plus there’s the beauty of the human form underwater. Anyway. I also said I wouldn’t do anymore of this kind of art, but, meh.
