The war in Ukraine is omnipresent in my thoughts; mostly for its humanitarian and global consequences. Although, I am and always will be a supporter of the Russian people, their culture, and language, I side with Ukraine in this pointless conflict. I pray that all the civilians and soldiers on both sides (because soldiers in combat are a sign of failed politicians) will survive and that the monsters in power in Russia will be overthrown so that I can someday come visit both of these historically beautiful lands. This artwork is a woman in the territorial defense forces immediately after a battle with Russian forces. Before the war, she was a mother, owned a small flower shop, and had never thought she would need to defend her nation against aggression.
