Concept #art I created yesterday. Beware of #demons offering a look into the #future and all that rot. The new thing for me was getting a #rainbow to appear exactly where I wanted it. I did it by creating a primitive of clear glass, then placing a multicolor fx injector inside of it. This doesn’t look so great on a phone. Yesterday I had an idea to do two things, first, see if hands do that squishy thing when pressed against glass in 3D programs. The answer is ‘no’. The second is to see if I could get a universe to reflect in someone’s eyes. The answer is ‘yes’, but the zoom on the eye needs to be absolute. So, today I saved it by zooming out and putting glass between #space and my #interstellar traveler. If you look at this on a big screen, such as a PC, you can see the reflection of the #planet twin #suns and a #nebula – the #digitalpainting is ostensibly an excited cargo tech running to the window to get a better view (she is wearing grav boots). #art #digitalartist #scifi #new
#firstcontact is not going to be as exciting as we fantasize it to be, likely it will be a microbe, or something small. How wonderful would it be if something like a #dandelion which is often met with disgust and #weed killer here on earth is the first #xenomorph we encounter off-world? Tonight’s #doodle is building on my discovery of a method of importing photos into my #digitalart program. The background is another of the beautiful #galaxies photographed by the @europeanspaceagency / #hubbletelescope – I went with a #goddess like figure reminiscent of #ishtar #astrea #aditi #marici #citlalincue #atahensic #abeguwo Nut, and any others I missed, as a compliment to nature’s work.
