The answer to that question is all in your point of view. I turned my digital painting of a battle with aliens aboard a derelict spacecraft into something you’d see in a graphic novel. It also highlights some of the darker things not visible in the earlier art due to the lighting (the muzzleflash was the only real light.
I like moody settings so the challenge for me is #lighting – this is another of my too dark to see #digital #paintings that I threw a #filter on to bring out the #beauty contained therein I forget the #title but I’m always changing them anyway, so…. #art #illustration #drawing #render #woc #fantasyart #adventurer #warrior

I threw a filter on it that allows one to see that she is looking into #space at a #planet to which the ship has just arrived (the reflection in the window).
