Nature – Victim

So I throw all these words out to explain my #art but really, it comes down to mood as the #artwork progresses. This was first focused on #hair – I am not apologetic for objectifying luscious locks – then it moved into the #goth #vampire realm ( #notsorry ) and then setting back into #natureContinue reading “Nature – Victim”

Stages

A triptych as my last digital artwork. I’ve run out of ideas and must find something else. The three paintings explore nothing, and maybe have some intrinsic meaning, but in my current state, I got nothing. The Mermaid Queen

She’s seen the fall of the Dodo, the discovery of the Whalefish, the wholesale destruction of her kingdom. She’s battled the the trawlers, the whalers, and the dumpers. She bears the scars of an ocean in peril, of currents in collapse. She is the queen of the deep, the last Mermaid queen. Note, this couldContinue reading “The Mermaid Queen”

Denouement

I really don’t have anything artsy or insightful to say. I just wanted to create something with the single source strong light, and am ambient light, which was used a lot in Dutch / Northern Renaissance paintings. She’s bloody, she could use a shower, but she’s survived. Here’s the close-in.
