A Celebration of Máni

The moon is out. the Autumn winds whisper through the trees as most of the world is asleep in their beds. But in the wilds a celebration of the Moon, of Máni, the moon personified in Germanic Mythology, is underway around a small fire. His priestess is free of earthly woes as she crafts her … Read more

She’s Got the Look

Some rando poses in a Graveyard because, Goth chicks. The first is actually the second… err… third because I couldn’t get her to look at the camera like those spooky paintings that follow you everywhere. Originally, the view showing the dragon was just to see if she was holding onto the candelabra correctly, then I … Read more

The Shipwreck

So after the drunkstorm of yesterday, I figured I’d plant today’s flag on a rocky beach somewhere, where the sole survivor of some gale-battered ship is discovered washed ashore by a passing good Samaritan. Artistically, it’s about light, the subtle colors extant in every vignette permeating our lives. No AI. Even though it’s destroying the … Read more

New Plan – Run!

Silene had known this wasn’t going to be easy. Their kingdom had been plagued by a fire-spewing dragon dwelling in a nearby cave / pond, poisoning the countryside. To prevent it from affecting the city itself, the people offered it two sheep daily, then a man and a sheep, and finally their children and youths, … Read more

Why No Art?

Hello, dear fans. I’d like to first apologize for there not being many posts here, lately, I’ve not abandoned art, but I’ve sold out. I’m making art and trying to grow it via Patreon. I’m also selling limited edition prints and originals at shows. If there is something you are interested in, we can discuss costs and shipping. I’ve two size prints 8.5 x 11 and 11 x 14. They’re $40 and $60 respectively plus shipping. Originals vary by size. The goal? To provide you with fantastic art but being able to eat without working another job. So, what’s on Patreon? Here’s a video of what the last couple months has been like.

Clever Girl

If I’ve used this title before, after all, there are over 300 of these, a little under 699 away from Van Gogh’s prolific-ness, then I’ll call it something like “Clever Girl, the series.” “But what does it all mean, Basil?,” as Austin Powers says. It’s a continuation of the warrior theme from yesterday. Missed that … Read more

Ophelia

I’ve not been doing much art lately, mostly due to artists block, but here’s a doodle I worked on over the last two weeks or so. I chose the title ‘Ophelia’ partially based on Zella Day’s “Sweet Ophelia” which inspired the initial concept, but also Bill’s existential masterpiece ‘Hamlet.’ The image has current social issues … Read more
